About Me
When the world came to a standstill during COVID, so did my recruitment business. Companies were laying people off instead of hiring, and I found myself locked inside my home, uncertain about the future. That pause, though unsettling, became the starting point of something unexpected—my writing.
I began sharing posts on LinkedIn, initially to attract clients and extend a hand to professionals who had lost their jobs. Soon, writing became more than just a business—it turned into a way of making sense of the times, connecting with others, and expressing myself.
My early posts revolved around professional life, careers, and personal development. Gradually, I opened up about my own experiences, weaving in humor, observations, and the small joys of daily life. Today, my stories often draw from my cycling journeys, my adventures in recruitment, my travels, and sometimes, conversations with my ever-curious dog, Oreo.
I write simply, in short pieces of 300–400 words, but each one carries a piece of my reflections—sometimes real, sometimes fictional. My goal is not to impress with jargon, but to share moments that resonate: a lesson learned, a thought sparked, a smile brought to your face.
This blog is a continuation of that journey. It’s a space where I bring together professional insights and personal stories, with a touch of humour and humanity. If you enjoy simple words that speak of everyday life, reflection, and imagination, you might feel at home here.
